Charge Capture Rules Analyst
Cision
• Maintaining the Charge Integrity SaaS solution’s specialized and proprietary Big Data charge capture functionality • Working collaboratively with internal resources to ensure the Charge Integrity SaaS Solution is providing excellent value to each client • Performing updates and ongoing maintenance to data elements that leverage applied mathematics to uncover missed charges and coding variances • Utilize SQL to update and maintain evidence-based charge integrity rules • Recommends and assists in implementing solutions to complex issues • Participates actively in applicable meetings, discussions and other such undertakings relevant to Charge Integrity SaaS Solution performance • Effectively executes project work plans while retaining the ability to revise plans as dictated by evolving needs and/or requirements • Remains active within the healthcare industry as it pertains to matters of charging practices so as to maintain an ongoing awareness of best practices, evolving trends and industry standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Capable of analyzing large quantities of data, identifying patterns, and summarizing by priority
- Demonstrates effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills, exercises sound judgment, and commitment to teamwork
- Highly self-motivated, desire to succeed, and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of charge capture terminology and charge capture best practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to multi-task and set priorities
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, including the ability to capture and manipulate data at a high level in MS Excel spreadsheets
- Understanding of SQL and database structures
- Background in revenue integrity, revenue cycle, or healthcare coding
