The ideal candidate is highly creative and self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, and collaborates well with others. - Create entertaining, iconic content for Duolingo's social media that people want to share. - Work on crafting fun, educational content that helps further our mission of developing the best education in the world and making it accessible. - Conceptualize, script, produce, and shoot short-form video content for our social channels, primarily TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube. - Work on large-scale content campaigns ranging from content with creators to scripted content with our animated characters. - Work cross-functionally to help promote different product features, launches, and initiatives like podcasts, course updates, and HR initiatives. - Evolve our short-form video strategy with an eye towards quantitative analysis: run lots of content experiments and iterate on the ones that work. Qualifications - 2-3 years social media experience at a major brand or organization. - A strong eye for craft and a high creative bar; you know what makes content great, not just good, from concept to execution. - Strong production experience; you can take a concept from an idea through storyboarding to execution. - Intimately familiar with in-app creator tools across social platforms and know your way around editing software like Adobe suite. - Deep in the weeds of data; you eat numbers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, looking to beat whatever last metric you set. - In-tune with social trends, even before they hit; ability to respond ASAP to trends/memes to capitalize on those opportunities. - Solid interpersonal skills and passion for engaging with our social media communities. Requirements - Exceptional candidates are proficient in multiple languages. - Can dance in a mascot suit. Company Description Duolingo is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. Role Description Our client is a fast-growing digital education brand in the social commerce space, helping creators monetize through short-form content and affiliate marketing. Built and led by a founder who is also the face of the brand, the business has generated multi-million dollar revenue through TikTok-driven funnels and has supported hundreds of creators in building income streams online. Their core acquisition engine is a high-performing webinar funnel powered primarily by TikTok ads. With strong sales infrastructure already in place, the focus now is on stabilizing performance, scaling efficiently, and expanding into Meta as a secondary growth channel. This role requires hands-on expertise in TikTok Ads media buying; if your experience is primarily limited to Meta or Google Ads, this position is not a fit. Responsibilities - Manage and optimize TikTok ad campaigns daily, including budget allocation, bid adjustments, and performance tracking. - Actively manage live campaign performance during high-spend webinar cycles (Sunday & Wednesday), making rapid, real-time optimizations. - Scale winning creatives aggressively while cutting underperforming ads quickly to maximize ROAS. - Navigate TikTok ad volatility (ad disapprovals, downtime, performance fluctuations) and adapt campaigns with minimal disruption. - Identify patterns in top-performing ads and recommend new creative directions (hooks, messaging, targeting angles). - Lead the launch and scaling of Meta ads as a secondary acquisition channel. - Collaborate closely with the founder on audience targeting, messaging, and landing page optimization based on conversion data. - Continuously test new audiences, creatives, and campaign structures to improve performance. Qualifications - 2–3+ years of hands-on media buying experience (TikTok required). - Proven track record managing and scaling paid campaigns with clear performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC). - Strong understanding of TikTok ad ecosystem, including creative testing and platform-specific behavior. - Experience with Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) or demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up. - Experience working with info products, digital courses, or webinar funnels is highly preferred. - Ability to make fast, data-driven decisions in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment. - Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. - Comfortable working directly with founders and operating with a high level of ownership. - Proficiency in English communication. Preferred Profile - Strategic thinker, not just a "numbers guy". - Proactive problem-solver who spots optimization opportunities. - Detail-oriented with ability to make rapid decisions under pressure. - Collaborative mindset to work closely with founder/team. Benefits - Competitive salary. - Performance-based commission (structure to be defined based on impact). - Fully remote role with flexible location. - High ownership role with direct impact on revenue growth. - Opportunity to work closely with a fast-scaling, founder-led business.
