Role Description We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Gas Engineer who will play a vital role in assisting the Gas Network/Service Engineer to install, replace and maintain underground pipework and associated equipment at customer’s premises and public highways. The Ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and possess strong customer service skills. They will also be able to prioritise well and work to tight schedules. Key Responsibilities - Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE - Assist the Gas Network/Service Engineer with all aspects of the role - Domestic & Commercial site work including installations, replacement and maintenance of underground pipe work - Manual handling - Operating Pneumatic tooling in a safe manner - Use of breathing apparatus - Travel will be required as part of the role Qualifications - Hold a full, valid UK driving licence - Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the UK - Experience in a similar role - Be flexible and willing to travel - Have strong customer services skills - Be an organised individual - Ideally hold a EUSR SHEA Gas safety qualification - Ideally hold a NRSWA certificate for operatives - Ideally Hold a NPORS plant operators qualification Requirements - Eligible to live and work in the UK - Hold a full driving licence that is valid for you to drive in the UK Benefits - Starting Salary Dependant on experience: £31,000 - £35,000 per annum - Overtime - Pension - Healthcare

• Use **Node.js** to process and manage data streams in a microservices-based environment • Build and support workflows for fetching, handling, and analyzing **video segments** • Implement and troubleshoot video workflows involving **HLS, adaptive streaming, FFmpeg, and codecs** • Develop and maintain APIs for **video delivery, metadata handling, and backend integrations** • Work with **event-driven architectures** for real-time or near-real-time video processing • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and operations teams to improve: - Streaming quality - Performance - Reliability • Identify technical issues, propose improvements, and support scalable backend solutions • Contribute to system optimization across **network, storage, and processing layers**

• Diagnose all types of fired equipment, including furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, and ancillary systems. • Assess mechanical integrity, operational suitability, and remaining equipment life. • Identify failures, malfunctions, and develop engineered solutions. • Recommend maintenance scopes, review completed work, and evaluate spare parts strategies. • Conduct preliminary heater and furnace surveys and generate pre turnaround reports. • Support commissioning activities, including equipment receipt checks, installation reviews, and startup assistance. • Coordinate with Zeeco subject matter experts to deliver complete customer solutions. • Develop scopes of inquiry and integrate applications and project teams as needed. • Facilitate customer training and educational sessions. • Visit existing and new clients to ensure Zeeco is included on AMLs for all product lines. • Identify new business opportunities and generate inquiries. • Build trust with key decision makers and influencers. • Conduct site surveys, troubleshoot equipment, and provide technical assistance. • Gather market intelligence, support quote clarifications, and help secure orders. • Collaborate with Zeeco sales, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and other internal teams. • Support commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities at customer facilities. • Strengthen the performance of Zeeco representatives/agents or identify new partners. • Deliver technical presentations and training to customer groups. • Provide feedback to product groups for continuous improvement. • Track customer turnaround schedules and promote Zeeco products and services accordingly. • Work in full compliance with Zeeco HSE and Quality systems.
