Fullstack Developer, Node/React II
Grupo Boticário
• Develop new features working across both front-end and back-end as required • Write and run unit tests for every new line of code produced • Review your own code (and colleagues') to ensure it follows Clean Architecture standards and maintains high readability • Keep documentation up to date • Prepare and perform deployments, monitoring the application’s health after release • Actively participate in dailies, plannings, technical refinements and retrospectives • Practice Pair Programming to share knowledge and learn from the team • Contribute to solution design discussions, suggesting approaches that ensure product scalability • Investigate and adopt new technologies when relevant • Check monitoring dashboards and logs to proactively identify and fix bugs • Analyze the backlog from the end-user perspective, suggesting improvements that deliver real business value, not just code • Seek feedback and identify ways to optimize the squad’s internal processes to make them more agile.
Job Requirements
- Strong experience with Node.js and React.js, proficient in both JavaScript and TypeScript (with emphasis on frameworks such as Nest)
- Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS
- Skill in connecting systems via RESTful APIs
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Solid knowledge of Microservices, Microfrontends and event-driven architectures (messaging)
- Application of best practices in Clean Code, Clean Architecture and a testing culture (TDD, unit and integration tests)
- Proficiency in version control and collaboration using Git and GitHub
- Enthusiasm for Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Clear interpersonal communication skills to resolve problems and work in cross-functional squads
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in dynamic, multilingual environments
- Experience with Python is a plus.
