• Lead coding quality and education teams of hospital, professional fee and global coding auditors • Evaluate and revise policies and procedures as needed to ensure quality coding • Develop and provide education to internal coders and providers as needed. • Ensure team members are educated on coding concepts and coding software • Review, evaluate and educate coding team members and providers on updated rules and regulations related to coding • Collaborate with coding and CDI operation managers on coding topics and guidelines • Track, rend and advise on outcomes of coding audits and needs for coder or provider specific education. • Research denial trends related to coding
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - Allied Health, Education, or Health Information Management
- Coding experience of at least 5 years
- Reporting experience of at least 1 year
- Ability to lead and direct teams at least 1 year
- Ability to analyze data and create actions plans at least 1 year
- Working knowledge in billing and EMS systems at least 1 year
- Epic System experience preferred
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPCH)
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)

• Manage FJC’s learning, data, and evaluation strategies, including developing and refining systems aligned with FJC’s Strategic Direction • Partner with FJC’s impact teams and external partners to embed evaluation and data into program design and execution, providing data consultation on outcomes, metrics, and learning agendas for continuous improvement • Manage aspects of field-wide data initiatives, including FJC's field-wide Satisfaction Insights and Census, ensuring high quality data collection, analysis and reporting • Translate data into actionable insights, making recommendations to improve programs and ensure alignment with intended outcomes • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to synthesize and elevate insights for decision-making and external communication • Additional learning and research projects as needed for the department including administrative tasks such as editing and creating slide decks, documents and finance related documentation for the department
