• Provide technical guidance and leadership • Oversee project scheduling and resource planning • Develop talent through mentorship • Act as the point-of-contact between your engineering team and both internal and external customers • Perform mechanical systems design and/or equipment procurement and construction activities including requirements definition, process calculations and analysis, P&ID preparation, model review, vendor and client coordination, review and approval of vendor document submittals, and verification of deliverables produced by other engineers and teams • Support the BWRX-300 certification processes for GE Products to address all US NRC (or other nuclear regulator) design certification requirements • Conduct component and product integration • Participate in activities spanning multiple components, systems, and products concerning integration for maximum performance and operability • Manage product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow down • Drive validation and verification activities for the overall product/system including system level operability and testing • Define product requirements for the module/component/subcontractors and partners teams • Manage interface between system and execution organizations • Drive Critical To Quality/Risk trades within the teams designing the components • Manage the overall product configuration and configuration control system • Develop specialized knowledge in system and discipline • Serve as best practice/quality resource • Contribute towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility • Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering • Be a key member of the Systems Engineering leadership team and specifically responsible for all technical and engineering deliverables needed to support plant design • Liaise with customers in partnership with engineering leadership and Project Management • Interface with cross-functional teams and departments necessary to complete assigned system design activities

You will implement features across the entire stack, utilizing AI coding agents to handle boilerplate and complex refactoring while you focus on high-level architecture and logic. You will be equipped with the finest internal tools to aid you in this endeavor • Quality Assurance: Own the reliability of your shipments. You will design and orchestrate AI-driven test suites that ensure near-zero regression and high performance • 0 to 1 Building: Lead new initiatives from a blank page to a production-ready feature, maintaining a relentless pace of iteration. • Team Validation: While you maintain ultimate ownership of your work, a dedicated team — comprising product, design, senior staff engineers, and quality assurance—will review, validate and share feedback around the completed work before it is deployed to production
