Role Description CTG is seeking a Data Governance Analyst with strong Collibra and data catalog experience to support enterprise data governance and metadata management initiatives for our client. This role will focus on improving data catalog maturity, documenting business terms and data assets, and partnering with cross-functional teams to strengthen governance processes and data visibility across the organization. Location: Remote Duration: 5 months Key Responsibilities - Enhance and maintain enterprise data catalog maturity within Collibra - Identify and document columns, tables, business terms, and metadata characteristics - Define and maintain Table Sets and Values within Collibra - Perform business process mapping to ensure appropriate business term coverage - Identify upstream databases and systems requiring cataloging and governance support - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on data governance initiatives - Utilize SQL queries to analyze and validate data assets - Support enterprise data stewardship, lineage, and metadata management activities Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience - Experience supporting enterprise data governance or data catalog initiatives - Experience documenting metadata, business terms, and data relationships - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Requirements - Experience with data governance and metadata management initiatives - Hands-on experience with Collibra preferred; CloudPak experience a plus - Understanding of database structures, data models, and data stewardship practices - SQL query capability - Strong business analysis and process mapping skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams - Utility industry experience preferred Benefits - The expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $105,000. - Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. - In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
