Job Description

Automation Field Service Technician

Power Storage Solutions

• Perform work safely and efficiently at customer sites, adhering to all local and site requirements • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain automation equipment • Manage Work Orders, assets, and inventory at client sites • Evaluate automated systems performance and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and best practices • Identify and engage with potential equipment and/or material suppliers • Utilize technical and reference manuals to support and ensure proper diagnostics and repairs • Develop and maintain knowledge base of issues and resolutions for timely reference and response to incidents • Utilize hand and power tools as required • Prepare field service reports, including work performed, parts usage, and recommendations • Travel as required to support customer to sites • Work with the client, suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve issues • Build and maintain professional internal and external relationships with coworkers, leadership, subcontractors, and clients across all levels • Perform additional duties in support of company goals and strategic initiatives • Support the development of training plans, materials and other documentation

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree with a focus in the Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls field or other related experience
  • 1+ years of experience maintaining or repairing material handling automation equipment
  • Experience working with vendors to develop and deploy maintenance strategies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Customer focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time
