Role Description Inova Health System is looking for a dedicated Clinical Quality Data Analyst to join the team. This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday – Friday working remotely. This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states – VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV. - Works with physicians, clinicians and other individuals involved in quality improvement initiatives and clinical quality measure processes to ensure standards of quality are met. - Helps physicians and clinicians to identify the clinical quality measure requirements and provide guidance on how to best meet them. - Accurately maintains an interrater reliability of 95% or better or assigned populations. - Collects data and completes assigned quality reviews within specified timeframes. - Collects and documents, accurately and completely, all required data elements. - Experience with EPIC, Press Ganey, and Get With The Guidelines (GWTG). - Utilizes specialized/clinical expertise when collecting data on clinical quality measures. - Conducts data abstraction based on specific techniques. - Utilizes and is familiar with specific software programs. - Compiles collected clinical data within required timeframes and submits to data warehouse for further processing. - Plays a core role in the Core Measures initiative and provides education to others on Core Measurement requirements. - Attends education sessions as needed. - Participates in quality audits as required. - Trains and educates others on the clinical quality measurement requirements as it pertains to quality improvement and regulatory requirements. - Provides content and compliance knowledge in the improvement initiatives for clinical quality measures. Qualifications - Associate's Degree with clinical focus, OR an additional five years of relevant experience and High School degree. - 2 years of clinical experience in healthcare quality, patient care or case management within a hospital or clinical setting (to include experience and knowledge with The Joint Commission, The Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services requirements and Core Measurement components).
