Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Irvine, CA Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid Senior Accountant – Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills and solid experience in financial accounting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, experience supporting financial audits, and the ability to collaborate effectively. This role will support the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and accounting system testing. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. - Prepare and post journal entries in the ERP system (Sage 100). - Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met. - Perform financial analysis and investigate variances or discrepancies. - Assist with internal and external financial audits, including preparing supporting documentation and schedules. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting and financial systems. - Perform Zuora testing by following test scripts to validate billing and financial data accuracy. - Collaborate with U.S.-based finance teams and cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues. - Maintain accurate documentation of accounting processes, reconciliations, and testing results. - Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 5+ years of accounting experience. - Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes. - Experience supporting financial audits. - Experience using ERP systems, preferably Sage 100. - Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system implementations is a plus. - Familiarity with Zuora or subscription billing platforms is preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with international teams, including U.S. stakeholders. Preferred Skills - Experience with process improvements or system implementations. - Knowledge of revenue recognition or subscription billing environments. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Salary Range - 75,200.00 - 115,400.00 USD Annual This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
