Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Irvine, CA Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid Senior Accountant – Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills and solid experience in financial accounting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, experience supporting financial audits, and the ability to collaborate effectively. This role will support the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and accounting system testing. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. - Prepare and post journal entries in the ERP system (Sage 100). - Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met. - Perform financial analysis and investigate variances or discrepancies. - Assist with internal and external financial audits, including preparing supporting documentation and schedules. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting and financial systems. - Perform Zuora testing by following test scripts to validate billing and financial data accuracy. - Collaborate with U.S.-based finance teams and cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues. - Maintain accurate documentation of accounting processes, reconciliations, and testing results. - Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 5+ years of accounting experience. - Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes. - Experience supporting financial audits. - Experience using ERP systems, preferably Sage 100. - Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system implementations is a plus. - Familiarity with Zuora or subscription billing platforms is preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with international teams, including U.S. stakeholders. Preferred Skills - Experience with process improvements or system implementations. - Knowledge of revenue recognition or subscription billing environments. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Salary Range - 75,200.00 - 115,400.00 USD Annual This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training. • Work amongst the team in charge of Commercial synergy deployment with strategic partner AVEVA • Achieve the ambitious commercial synergy objectives between ETAP and AVEVA • Define and execute multidisciplinary tasks related to synergy strategy, business intelligence, marketing, commercial policy, sales and project coordination, finance reporting, and more • Engage with various stakeholders at all levels within both ETAP and AVEVA, as well as with customers • Meet the global synergy orders target for ETAP and AVEVA • Assist in securing significant synergy deals and projects • Help transition global and key accounts to Aveva Flex contracts • Collaborate with regional ETAP and AVEVA teams to coordinate the platforming of synergy leads • Organize regular synergy meetings with regional ETAP and AVEVA teams • Improve the value propositions for the ETAP and AVEVA segments • Formalize and consistently update the unified process and electrical digital twin concept, along with its value proposal • Promote strong collaboration with regional ETAP and AVEVA teams • Prepare periodic reports and perform gap analyses • Collect market intelligence from the field • Aid in upskilling ETAP and AVEVA teams regarding the combined value proposition • Contribute to defining and implementing effective enablement campaigns and resources • Maintain and update the synergy playbooks
