This is a full-time role with the flexibility to be based out of our Bangalore, Pune, or Mumbai locations. As the senior representative for Flywire across India’s banking and AD-II ecosystem, you will serve as the primary interface between leading financial institutions and Flywire’s global platform, ensuring local market complexity is translated into scalable, high-impact solutions. You will be responsible for architecting and scaling a resilient, compliant, and high-performance payment network, capable of supporting Flywire’s continued growth across cross-border corridors. This includes strengthening our local infrastructure, expanding strategic partnerships, and embedding regulatory and product innovation into the payer experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of payments, this role plays a critical part in ensuring Flywire remains ahead of market, regulatory, and technological shifts in India, while contributing meaningfully to the company’s broader global payments strategy. Key Responsibilities Strategic Network Architecture & Ownership Take full ownership of Flywire’s Indian payments infrastructure, spanning banking and AD-II partnerships. Architect multi-layered, multi-rail payment flows that deliver seamless, intuitive, and highly reliable payer journeys, while enabling flexibility across use cases and corridors. Performance Excellence, Resilience & Redundancy Define and institutionalize a rigorous performance management framework across partners, including SLAs, KPIs, and continuous monitoring mechanisms. Build high-availability infrastructure with embedded redundancy, ensuring business continuity and minimizing single points of failure in a dynamic operating environment. Regulatory Leadership & Product Integration Act as Flywire’s in-country authority on India’s regulatory and tax frameworks, partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into scalable, automated, and user-centric product capabilities, ensuring compliance is seamlessly embedded into the customer journey. Partnership Strategy, Expansion & Commercial Stewardship Develop and execute a forward-looking partnership strategy that anticipates evolving payment behaviors and emerging use cases. Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-impact partners, leading negotiations end-to-end. Maintain full ownership of the commercial performance, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment of all partner relationships. Market Intelligence & Strategic Foresight Continuously monitor regulatory developments and market innovations driven by regulatory bodies such as the RBI. Synthesize insights into actionable strategies, ensuring Flywire remains proactive and well-positioned to capitalize on structural shifts in the ecosystem. Cross-Functional Leadership & Value Creation Serve as a central node across Pricing, Operations, Product, Sales, and Finance to drive alignment and execution.
