Operating as an individual contributor, this role works cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Team Support & Oversight: Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians as needed to ensure efficient workflow and operational excellence. - Service Coordination: Coordinate the provision of pharmaceutical services, including the delivery of medications and products to patients, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. - Documentation & Compliance: Maintain all required documentation for services rendered and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. - Drug Security: Safeguard legend drugs and ensure proper handling, storage, and security in accordance with regulatory standards. - Quality Assurance: Participate in the pharmacy quality assurance program to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and patient safety. - Patient & Provider Communication: Regularly correspond with patients and healthcare providers via telephone, offering medication consultations and ensuring exceptional service. - Education & Guidance: Support the Pharmacy Operations Leader in educating pharmacy staff and staying current on regulatory guidelines and industry standards. - Patient Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of patient profiles, medication information, and all sensitive health data. Required Experience & Qualifications: - Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio. - Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. - Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Pharmacist. - Ability and willingness to work at a computer screen for extended periods. - Strong organizational and leadership skills to support pharmacy operations. - A deep commitment to putting patients first and upholding high ethical standards. Additional Information Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, periodically move away from the computer terminal for in-person meetings, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
