Role Description We are looking for a Senior ERP RPG Developer to join our Platt team Remotely within the USA! The Senior ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) RPG Developer is responsible for the development of ERP initiatives to produce fully functional software capabilities according to requirements. Act as an expert ERP developer to ensure enhanced growth of the ERP platform and will work as part of a team and individually with little supervision. This role will be very “hands-on” and should be excited about digital advancements, automation, clean code, and clean data. What You'll Do: - Design, document and develop complex enterprise solutions based on the business requirements - Work with IT application owners to identify requirements to satisfy business needs - Conduct technical evaluations and performs cost/benefit analysis - Maintain a current knowledge of technology and continually evaluate its impact on company objectives and deployed systems - Design technology solutions and goals for a specific project and/or application area, including but not limited to the ERP system and related integrated software and tools - Facilitate solution design discussions and designs applications with a focus on reducing the Total Cost of Ownership - Participate as a member of the project team to ensure the optimal design solution is understood and adopted - Provide technical guidance to project teams in their area of expertise and/or leads teams to complete projects specific to their domains - Understand and maintain security measures and configurations with current standards, practices, & technology included but not limited to PCI and sensitive data protection - Represent project teams at architecture and security review boards and assists in securing required approvals - Assist with establishment and refinement of technical standards and hardware standards - Assist with software, hardware and project approvals - Responsible for timely implementation of technology projects - Assist with IT cost control and actively look for opportunities to control spend - Other duties assigned Job Duties Disclaimer: The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
