Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

• Senior Azure DevOps professional available to work remotely. • DevOps focused on Azure Multi-Region, responsible for implementing and evolving continuous delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, and production operations to support a new region. • Works with a focus on automation, governance, security, observability, and business continuity, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant deployments across regions. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure in a Multi-Region environment, including automated deployments, automated testing, production validation, and rollback strategies. • Provision and maintain Azure resources using Terraform and ARM/Bicep, with versioning, reusable templates, and environment management across regions. • Manage environment configuration and deployments with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, integrating policy validation and compliance checks. • Configure and operate observability tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, dashboards, and alerts, with attention to operational cost management. • Implement security controls in pipelines and infrastructure: Zero Trust, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud. • Configure and operate networking and connectivity between regions: VNet, VNet Peering, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateway with high-availability strategies. • Participate in planning, configuration, and execution of DR/BCP tests between regions: replication, failover, and rehearsals. • Keep deployment standards, security policies, and operational procedures documentation up to date.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure in production environments, including CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with IaC: Terraform or ARM/Bicep in Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with security practices for pipelines and infrastructure (RBAC, Key Vault, Managed Identities).
  • Preferred: experience in projects focused on high availability, disaster recovery (DR), or Multi-Region environments.
  • Implementation and operation of Multi-Region CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, including automated deployments, testing, and rollback.
  • IaC with Terraform and ARM/Bicep for provisioning Azure resources, including versioning and environment management across regions.
  • Configuration and operation of observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Security for pipelines and infrastructure: RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Configuration of Azure networking across regions: VNet Peering, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and failover strategies.
  • Participation in DR/BCP projects: data replication, failover, and execution of rehearsals.
  • Containers and orchestration with AKS, serverless technologies, and microservices patterns on Azure.
  • Hybrid and Multi-Region governance with Azure Arc and DevSecOps: code scans, SBOM, SCA, and security tests integrated into the pipeline.
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid architectures (Azure + AWS/GCP) is a plus.
  • Advanced automation with PowerShell and Azure CLI, including runbooks and incident response automation.
  • Recommended certifications: AZ-400 and AZ-104 (desired); AZ-500 is a plus.

Role Description We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Magenta, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining secure, compliant, and scalable infrastructure that supports our manufacturing platform. You'll work with highly regulated environments, ensuring FedRAMP and ITAR compliance while delivering reliable systems that our enterprise customers depend on. This role combines deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure with the unique challenges of serving manufacturing companies that require the highest levels of security and compliance.
