• Update and maintain ABB control system hardware/software, including design specs, test procedures, and scopes of work • Lead assurance, integration, and testing of system modules, ensuring smooth delivery and performance • Deliver system updates and new products while collaborating with stakeholders; provide on-call support and site visits as needed • Assist in quotation preparation and identify potential sales leads through customer interactions • Advise clients on maintenance, site planning, operational methods, control strategies, and cybersecurity • Oversee system modifications, spare parts planning, and ad-hoc work-scope coordination • Compile site visit reports, ensure follow-up, and maintain effective communication with internal teams and clients • Balance shifting priorities, manage customer expectations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure access to resources when needed

Title: Senior Systems Engineer - Birmingham Remote Location: Birmingham, AL Full-time Position Overview The Senior Systems Engineer is a client-facing, hands-on technical role responsible for deploying and supporting high-value IT infrastructure projects for clients nationwide. This position reports directly to the Project Director and follows process direction from the Project Manager. When not traveling, the Senior Systems Engineer works from corporate headquarters collaborating closely with the Project and Support teams. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to execute complex infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clear communication and documentation standards.
