Role Description The Video Editor is in charge of editing offline and online, short-form videos and live video content for various social platforms and will serve as an internal resource to several divisions within the company. The responsibilities of the employee may differ from those outlined below and other duties may be assigned. - Can operate in a fast-turnaround environment across editing tasks such as ingestion, categorisation, clipping and social edits - Comfortable working with Creatives and other creative resources to craft compelling narratives and storytelling - Creates sound beds and can do basic sound mixes for edit projects when required - Maintains a high bar of quality across all job duties - Takes initiative on projects to deliver new and innovative solutions, staying up to date on software advancements and the latest motion graphics techniques - Actively adds to this growing skillset to support the entire video team with our current offerings and future ones - Works with supervisor to look for continued post-production offerings and expand our editing skillsets Qualifications - 5-8 years of experience in editing - Good experience and understanding of design & motion graphics - Demonstrates expert proficiency with editing software Adobe Premiere and After Effects - Excels at color correction - A strong understanding of capabilities and integrations with other software, such as Da Vinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Maya, etc. - Some experience managing other Editors & Motion Artists is a bonus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Great organization skills and effectively prioritizing tasks - Strong collaborative skills engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at multiple seniority levels - A continuous desire to learn new techniques and technology - Willing to work in the US timezone (ET - New York) Benefits - Salary: $30,000 gross - Legal benefits (vacation, Christmas bonus, social security) - Growth opportunities - After 3 months: - Major Medical Expense Insurance - Savings fund - Grocery vouchers ($1,200) Company Description
