Business Resilience Associate

Griffin

• Own our supplier management framework, deepening supply chain mapping, monitoring supplier performance, and strengthening our resilience by understanding our most critical third-party relationships • Design, coordinate and help run supplier failure scenario tests across the business that answer the question "how resilient are we?" • Support the development of our first-line controls assurance programme, helping to build the infrastructure that keeps our risk and control environment robust • Embed our resilience culture across Griffin, working in close partnership with operations and technology teams to make resilience a shared responsibility • Keep pace with our regulatory environment, ensuring our programme remains aligned with PRA/FCA requirements on operational resilience and supplier management • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational resilience programme as Griffin grows and the regulatory landscape evolves • Shape this role based on insights into customer needs and technical gaps.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a regulated financial services environment, with a strong understanding of how banks and financial institutions operate
  • Familiarity with PRA/FCA regulations on operational resilience and third-party/supplier management
  • Hands-on experience with supplier or third-party management, particularly where those suppliers contribute to delivering important business services
  • Comfort working alongside technology teams. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be able to speak their language and collaborate effectively
  • A love of writing - we have a major amount of written documentation that you will be contributing to, and we place a high degree of importance on clarity and readability
  • Experience developing or exercising business continuity plans (ideally)
  • Knowledge of EU DORA and its implications for financial services firms (ideally)
  • Line 1.5 or first-line assurance experience (ideally)
