• Support Custom Engineered Product Development in both Liquid Cooling and Air Cooled product families for Hyperscale customers • Develop optimized solutions using Industry Standards and best practices • Apply design engineering principles and practices, managing assigned portions of product development projects • Manage multiple project activities in parallel and may lead projects through completion • Work with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to develop product requirements based on customer needs • Analyze systems using a variety of engineering tools including FEA, analytical formulas, benchmark designs, etc. • Run through sizing and optimization exercises for pumps, valves, and flow control devices • Familiar with piping layouts, design, and material selection • Use DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA tools to improve quality and reliability of designs • Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) • Assure full and accurate documentation for designs moving into commercialization • Work with operations to design solutions integrated into current manufacturing capabilities • Develop advanced designs in conjunction with operations to produce high quality designs that are value based • Work with sales and service to improve current designs and incorporate future needs into the existing platform • Work as an example and mentor to more junior mechanical engineers

Role Description Voor onze afdeling Conveying Solutions in Ternat is Actemium op zoek naar een Mechanical Design Engineer die op korte termijn ook de rol van Teamlead zal opnemen binnen het studiebureau. Als Mechanical Design Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en uitwerken van mechanische ontwerpen binnen onze projecten. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en andere afdelingen om tot efficiënte en kwalitatieve ontwerpen te komen. Daarnaast groei je door naar de rol van Teamlead (dit op middellang termijn), waarbij je instaat voor de coördinatie van een klein team (ongeveer 3 personen). Je combineert deze leidinggevende rol met je technische expertise en blijft zelf actief betrokken bij de uitvoering.
