Under the direction of the Digital Art Director and in collaboration with cross-functional partners, the Digital Designer will be responsible for bringing the Scholastic Book Fairs brand to life through the design of digital collateral. As part of our creative team, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand’s digital presence, ensuring that every touchpoint—whether an email campaign, a landing page, or a promotional asset—speaks to our audience’s needs and sparks curiosity in the next generation of readers. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent - 6+ years of experience in a creative design role - Minimum of 2 years of experience designing emails/digital specific content Requirements - Ability to manage and create files for digital execution - Deep understanding of digital standards, fundamentals, and best practices, including ADA compliance - Knowledge of digital deliverables, specs, file types, and delivery methods - Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and design skills - Ability to take ownership of creative campaigns from concept through execution - Flexible, professional, positive attitude with a detail-oriented approach - Ability to work both independently and as an effective member of a small, but mighty team - Ability to anticipate feedback, take direction, and implement notes - Ability to collaborate with other teams - Extreme proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) - Proficiency in Figma - Knowledge of motion graphics/ability to animate and create GIFs - Knowledge of HTML not required, but a plus!
