Senior Consultant – BA/IM

• Mentoring (Delivery team) • Champion best practices in agile software delivery • Internal development of BA/PM capability within Fabric • Primary focus on the BA role • Manage Product/Delivery engagement • Hands-on as a senior BA in engagements where depth of experience is required • A thorough understanding of agility and iterative delivery of complex software products • Help coach-client product owner in their day to day activities (Prioritisation, Stakeholder management, etc) • Help Elicit and capture requirements • Work with delivery teams to constantly groom the backlog in a value focused manner • Provide deep experience and trusted advice to our clients in the areas of business analysis, product ownership and agile delivery management • Take an active role on Fabric Discovery engagements (Ideation/POC/Discovery) • Participate in interviewing and recruitment • Collaborate and contribute to the Fabric business strategy and execution • Take an active role in discovery & inception sessions • Develop delivery plans, project estimates and statements of work for delivery engagements • Balance our client’s business goals with customer needs and pains, market fit and technical feasibility • Prioritise workload to meet agreed timeframes • Be highly communicative and collaborative – be able to clearly communicate your ideas to everyone • Become a trusted advisor to our customer • Support QA work on project if necessary

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in various Agile methodologies.
  • Understand the Agile principles and values and be capable of tailoring Agile practices to suit the specific needs of the organisation.
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and testable user stories that represent user needs and requirements, such as acceptance criteria, splitting and merging.
  • Competent in backlog management, prioritisation techniques, and ensuring that the team focuses on delivering value to customers.
  • Skilled in facilitating sprint planning meetings to establish achievable goals for each iteration.
  • Conduct effective retrospectives to identify areas of improvement and enhance team performance.
  • Possess strong collaboration and facilitation skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, designers, and product owners, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project goals.
  • Analytical thinking with system analysis skills such as data mapping, xml scheme, json, etc.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, enabling the team to frequently and reliably release software iterations to production.
