Job Description
Fullstack Engineer – Supply Chain
Future Works
• Build and maintain the core React and TypeScript web application and supporting backend services that power planner workflows, scenario review, and decision support. • Develop data-heavy interfaces including tables, filters, comparison views, dashboards, and visualizations that make complex outputs clear and actionable. • Integrate optimization engines, model outputs, and business-rule logic into product flows that present recommendations with the right context and explainability. • Implement authentication, role-based access, and secure application behavior appropriate for a single-tenant, high-scrutiny environment. • Build and maintain APIs, background jobs, and application orchestration needed to support batch data workflows, scenario processing, and user-facing responsiveness. • Work with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Advisors to translate operational rules, constraints, and exception paths into practical product behavior. • Partner closely with QA to ensure the application is testable, stable, and release-ready across both frontend and backend layers. • Use AI-assisted development and agentic engineering workflows to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and increase implementation speed without compromising maintainability.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer or Fullstack Developer, with a strong track record of shipping production web applications end to end.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience building modern frontend applications in React and Next.js or comparable frameworks.
- Strong experience building backend APIs and application services, including routing, validation, authentication, authorization, and service integration.
- Experience building data-rich user interfaces, including tabular workflows, visualizations, filtering, and analytical or operational dashboards.
- Familiarity with modern UI implementation patterns, including Tailwind CSS, shadcn, or similar component-based design systems.
- Experience integrating model-driven or AI-enabled functionality into products, including asynchronous processes, recommendation flows, and result-state handling.
- Comfort working with cloud-hosted and serverless architectures, CI/CD workflows, and pragmatic DevOps responsibilities in fast-moving delivery environments.
- Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants such as Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the judgment to work effectively in more recent agentic engineering workflows.
- Previous experience working with supply chain, logistics, ERP-connected systems, or operational decision-support products is highly preferred.
