Diagnostic Success Partner

• Determine which customers to prioritize for growth efforts and work with the field sales team to meet growth objectives. • Regularly call all identified customers to deliver superior customer service and remain solution-focused for all clients and/or concerns to achieve long-term customer retention. • Monitor the customer retention list monthly and review territory growth targets to identify growth opportunities or risks of attrition. • Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales teams to target specific areas for customer growth and retention. • Conduct calls (in-person or virtual) with veterinary hospitals to discuss opportunities and provide support. • Inform customers about Antech's innovation efforts as well as new products and programs to increase product utilization through growth programs and marketing tools. • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify needs for growth marketing tools and resources. • Effectively use multiple software systems to manage accounts and maintain company records, including but not limited to Salesforce.com, RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office. • Demonstrate mastery of Antech's full portfolio of products and services. • Serve as a knowledgeable resource across all product categories and act as a subject matter expert for new products. • Attend relevant business meetings to discuss hospital performance and growth opportunities. • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources to connect the sales team to new business opportunities. • Conduct pre-visit research to gather insights and anticipate issues to enhance the overall customer experience. • Coordinate daily support activities and client-facing tasks during meetings as needed. • Responsible for collecting, processing, modeling, and analyzing accurate data to identify opportunities. • Possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to escalate issues effectively to the appropriate parties for resolution. • May be asked to participate in corporate initiatives, special projects, and other assigned tasks. • May be assigned additional duties to support customer growth, retention, and support. • Navigate ambiguous situations in a manner consistent with Mars' Five Principles and with uncompromising integrity.

Job Requirements

  • Technical college diploma (DEC) in animal health, laboratory techniques (biotechnology, biomedical analysis) or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, animal health, or a business-relevant field; any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as an animal health technician, laboratory technician, or medical assistant.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or customer service within a professional services industry (ideally in animal health, human health, or a related field).
  • Knowledge of diagnostic services is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain consistent professionalism with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to interact and work positively with a variety of people and departments, both in person and by phone.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with all levels of staff over the phone.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Must be able to take initiative and work independently.
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude to adjust to a fast-changing and complex environment.
  • Quick learner of new and existing software tools.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data and synthesize it into an actionable plan using the assigned CRM.
