Training Consultant

• Partner with stakeholders to ensure optimal change management & training plans are designed and implemented. • Analyze customer and project requirements to develop effective training courses and materials. • Demonstrate thorough technical and subject matter knowledge and experience. • Work cross-functionally to design, develop, and evaluate training materials delivered online and in class. • Teach courses from beginner to advanced levels. • Create instructional materials and videos. • Build, test, and maintain training environments. • Modify/update training library of resources. • Provide monthly status updates on training activities. • Analyze new functionality and training needs. • Assist in scheduling and program management of large-scale training programs. • Participate on cross-functional project teams for training and development representation.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of **4 years of experience** in training, learning & development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering **end-user training programs** (both virtual and in-person).
  • Strong ability to **translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly learning content**.
  • Experience working in **cross-functional environments**, collaborating with stakeholders such as IT, communications, project teams, and external vendors.
  • Solid knowledge of **Microsoft Office 365 tools** and experience delivering related training is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in **instructional design methodologies**, including creation of training materials such as presentations, guides, videos, and hands-on exercises.
  • Experience with **Learning Management Systems (LMS)** to track training activities, completion, and performance.

Job Description We are seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to develop storyboards and other training materials for eLearning courseware. The successful candidate will have the ability to apply learning theory to develop effective training. This position will also be responsible for facilitating virtual classroom training. Responsibilities - Coordinate and deliver all aspects of virtual classroom training. - Create a learning environment that encourages learner engagement. - Applies knowledge of adult learning concepts such as ADDIE methodology in the creation of educational training to support synchronous and asynchronous learning and translate the subject material into accurate and beneficial courseware. - Effectively gathers information from the client on various aspects of the project, including instructional training objectives, tasks to be emphasized, prior knowledge of the students, relationships to be stressed, and the relative degree of importance of the various pieces of information being disseminated to determine appropriate level of interactivity. - Leads the development of storyboards and other training materials, that include the designs and layouts for a wide variety of organizational, technical, and general training materials of a complex nature. - Develops effective training through application of learning theory such as - Knowles Principles of Adult Learning advising customers on appropriate, effective interactivity for the needed level of training. - Recommends best method of portrayal, style, and format, including order and amount of detail, based on knowledge of briefing purpose, coverage, and intended audience. - Collect feedback to incorporate improvements - Ensure storyboard quality using peer reviews and best practices, collaborating with team for continual process improvement.
