Qualifications - A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or Linux System Administrator. - Experience working with AWS and DigitalOcean. - Confident administration of operating systems like CentOS, Debian, FreeBSD, and others. - Hands-on experience administering fundamental services such as FTP, SSH, SMTP, and IMAP. - Knowledge of PHP, SQL, and Shell scripting for automation and day-to-day task resolution. - Ability to configure and manage LAMP web server environments. - Practical experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, and Munin. - Strong knowledge and practical experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, GitLab, and Jenkins. - Proficient reading skills for technical documentation in English. • Own and evolve cloud infrastructure in AWS for iGaming platforms with 24/7 availability requirements. • Design and operate multi-account, multi-VPC architectures with secure connectivity and shared services. • Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). • Drive architectural improvements for scalability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency. • Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for frequent and safe releases. • Implement release strategies suitable for iGaming. • Enforce deployment controls for production (manual approvals, gated pipelines, release branches). • Support and maintain self-managed GitLab and Container Registry. • Lead containerization strategy using Docker and ECS Fargate (serverless). • Operate and improve traffic management and routing using Kong API Gateway. • Ensure reliable service-to-service communication and networking under high concurrency. • Build and own observability for production systems. • Define SLOs, SLIs, and alerting strategies to reduce noise and improve MTTR. • Own operational reliability of RDS PostgreSQL. • Work with NoSQL / KV data stores (ElastiCache) for session data and caching. • Support architectures where single databases serve multiple regions or services. • Implement security best practices aligned with iGaming compliance requirements. • Manage DNS, WAF, and security controls via Cloudflare. • Participate in audits, security reviews, and compliance initiatives. • Take a senior role in production support and on-call rotations. • Lead incident response for critical production issues. • Proactively improve system reliability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. • Act as a technical leader within the DevOps team. • Mentor mid-level engineers and review infrastructure and CI/CD changes. • Collaborate closely with backend, QA, product, and compliance teams. • Maintain high-quality documentation.

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure and application deployment systems. • Define and enforce best practices for DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, alerting, and configuration management. • Mentor and guide development and operations teams on DevOps principles and tools. • Design, build, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD. • Manage and maintain complex environments in Azure, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency. • Perform system administration and maintenance for both Windows and Linux servers (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting). • Utilize various command line utilities for system diagnostics, configuration, and automation. • Develop, maintain, and enhance extensive automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to manage system configuration, deployments, and operational tasks. • Drive the transition from manual operations to fully automated, codified infrastructure.

• Maintain and optimise Maven configurations to ensure consistent, reproducible builds across all environments • Execute and verify runtime, framework, and library upgrades, including Java, Spring, and Tomcat • Proactively monitor CVEs and apply security patches to remediate vulnerabilities in alignment with guidelines • Manage stable automated pipelines, artifact repositories, Docker images, and deployment tooling • Improve integration test suites and ensure reliable execution within the CI/CD lifecycle • Investigate build failures and collaborate with developers to resolve root causes and deployment incidents • Coordinate with Architecture, Dev., and QA teams to plan upcoming technical changes and refinements • Maintain technical documentation to support system transparency and team collaboration
