Enterprise Implementation Consultant

Samsara

• Be the Samsara advisor, managing the deployment of Samsara technology to large-scale customers, enabling customers to achieve quick time to value in their investment • Own the project management including project plans, RAID logs and governance meetings • Lead solution workshops to develop L1 processes for each business process • Guide customers through change management processes including policy, comms and training • Run training sessions, demonstrate Samsara’s technology, and work through obstacles with executives and day-to-day users of the system across numerous use cases • Juggle multiple customer engagements in parallel and work cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a senior implementation consultant, project manager, or management consulting role. Enterprise SaaS and hardware experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills with ability to follow methodologies
  • 2+ years experience supporting or working with technical products
  • 2+ years running on-site workshops with over 10 stakeholders
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving & project management skills
  • Excellent consultative skills with experience in end-to-end system implementations
  • Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders: executives, Product and Engineering senior management, day-to-day users of our software
  • Passion for going above and beyond the call of duty, taking initiative, and thriving in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment

Role Description Prepared is seeking a Sr. Technical Implementation Engineer to join our Customer Success organization. You’ll be a key technical partner to our public safety customers during onboarding, acting as the face of Prepared for their first deployments. This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless, high-quality implementation experience and directly impacts the successful adoption of Prepared’s technology in 911 centers nationwide. As we grow into new product lines and more complex deployments, your technical skill, autonomy, and proactive mindset will help define how we scale our implementation approach. What You’ll Do - Lead on-site and remote implementation of Prepared’s solutions for public safety agencies, including hardware setup and system integrations. - Serve as the primary technical point of contact during customer onboarding and early adoption, working closely with project managers and client stakeholders. - Configure, ship, and support Prepared’s proprietary hardware and assist customers in integrating with their existing systems. - Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshoot escalated issues from the customer support team. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to provide real-time feedback and improve implementation processes. - Contribute to process and documentation improvements that enable future team scaling and first-call resolution by Support.
