• Build responsive, pixel-perfect HTML email templates from provided Figma or Photoshop designs • Code dynamic and modular templates optimized for different ESPs (Customer.io, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Braze, etc.) • Troubleshoot rendering issues across email clients and devices (Outlook, Gmail, iOS, Android) • Perform QA and testing to ensure consistency, accessibility, and deliverability • Collaborate with internal teams to support campaign launches and automated workflows • Maintain and update email code libraries and documentation • Stay current with email development trends, techniques, and platform updates
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive email design
- Strong understanding of email client quirks and limitations (especially Outlook)
- Experience with tools like Litmus or Email on Acid for testing
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or Figma for slicing assets
- Familiarity with ESPs or marketing automation tools (e.g., Customer.io, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Braze, Iterable)
- Strong attention to detail, quality assurance, and debugging skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly in a remote team environment
- Bonus Skills
- Experience with AMP for Email or interactive email components
- Basic knowledge of marketing automation logic or dynamic content (liquid, handlebars, etc.)
- Comfort working in Git or version-controlled environments
