STACK
• Drive Accounting Engineering: Own the functional, technical and consultative engagement with prospects and customers, helping them achieve their business objectives through the Stacks platform. You’ll constantly interact with Controllers, VPs of Finance, and CFOs. • Accounting Expertise Meets Customer Focus: Leverage your deep accounting knowledge to advise prospective and existing customers on best practices & help them translate complex accounting workflows into solutions using Stacks. • Go-to-Market Excellence: Partner with Sales, Customer Success & Engineering to lead accounting and process discovery, problem solve on how Stacks can help, and drive successful PoCs that win deals. • Seamless Implementation: Lead the accounting part implementation for new customers, ensuring they are fully onboarded and confident in using the product to transform their monthly close process. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work directly with product and engineering to translate real-world accounting needs into product features and enhancements. • Strategic Growth: As an early team member, you’ll help define Accounting Engineering at Stacks, building playbooks, processes, and eventually future teammates.
Job Requirements
- 3–7 years in accounting or accounting transformation leadership roles: You've led accounting teams and/ or accounting transformation in fast-paced environment, and bring hands-on experience with system implementation.
- Accounting Domain Knowledge: You’ve worked in or closely with accounting teams, ideally as a Controller, ACA/ACCA or someone deeply familiar with the month-end close process, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Customer-Facing Confidence: Comfortable engaging with senior finance leaders and technical stakeholders alike. You know how to listen, challenge assumptions, and earn trust.
- Product Mastery: Quick to understand and explain complex systems. You’re able to turn accounting pain points into clear product solutions.

Role Description The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department Head is a senior leadership role responsible for building, leading, and scaling the firm's CAS practice. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced CAS leader to build the practice from the ground up, establish scalable processes, lead a high-performing team, and partner closely with firm leadership to drive long-term growth and innovation.
