Head of Enterprise Architecture

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and target‑state roadmaps • Ensure architectural alignment across applications, data, cloud platforms, integration, security, identity, and FinOps • Establish and lead architecture governance forums and design review processes • Actively participate in and represent Enterprise Architecture in key governance bodies, including Architecture Committees, the Office of the CTO, and AI Governance forums • Maintain current‑state and future‑state architecture documentation and artifacts • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of architects • Define roles, responsibilities, operating models, and career paths for architecture practice • Foster a culture of architectural excellence, pragmatism, and delivery enablement • Ensure architects are effectively embedded within delivery teams • Partner closely with the IT Delivery Director, technology leaders, and business stakeholders • Support delivery teams by providing clear architectural guardrails without becoming a delivery bottleneck • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions • Provide architectural leadership for major initiatives including cloud modernization and data analytics platforms • Define and govern enterprise IAM architecture including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, and Zero Trust alignment • Embed FinOps principles into architectural standards and solution designs • Ensure cost transparency, optimization, and sustainable cloud and platform consumption • Influence technology platform selection and strategic vendor partnerships

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise, domain, or solution architecture roles
  • Proven experience leading an enterprise architecture function in a complex organization
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience managing senior technical professionals
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Full professional proficiency in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Technical Expertise in Enterprise Architecture frameworks and practices
  • Cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
