About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Product/UX Designer to shape how viewers experience Haystack across all device surfaces. You’ll help deepen engagement, strengthen retention, and make the product easier and more enjoyable for millions of users. This is a hands-on IC role within a small, nimble team. Responsibilities Cross-platform product design Own end-to-end design for a variety of new features across product surfaces (onboarding, personalization, discovery, playback, subscription flows) across iOS, Android, web, connected TV and automotive systems. User-centered problem solving Translate product goals into clear flows, wireframes and high-quality UI. Use research insights, user feedback and data to refine and iterate on your work. • Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers on product research and vision, translating it into wireframes, mockups and final designs • Test concepts with users and integrate their feedback • Iterate with front-end developers on moving the designs into well executed developments, actively participating in the development of a design system and platform styles • Be autonomous in identifying UX problems and devising elegant solutions to them - you’ll be the owner of ensuring a delightful user experience. • Collaborate with colleagues in Data Science, Customer Success, and Engineering.

• Attend design reviews and other project related meetings • Effectively communicate configuration considerations for product design • Provide feedback on timelines and potential processing constraints • Work with development teams to fully define the scope of configuration activities needed for a project • Coordinate with various departments and functional groups to ensure the accuracy of information provided by development team • Communicate documentation issues and solutions to product development team • Generate documentation related to impact assessments and implementation preparation • Generate Parts Maps for determination of impacts to existing product, determination of new product requirements, and assessment of the overall implementation plan. • Prepare all documents required for Configuration (e.g. Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, Product Specifications, etc.) • Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts for Product Transfer/Change Control Activities • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and provide recommendations for solutions • Support departmental training program and development of new tools • May lead and/or mentor others • Ensure compliance to document and record control according to all MSD quality, ISO and regulatory requirements • Write SOPs as needed • Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental requirements.
