Role Description We are hiring a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive net-new pipeline within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). This is a mid-level role for a proven B2B seller who thrives in outbound sales, understands complex cybersecurity and compliance conversations, and seeks a clear path into a full-cycle Account Executive role. Base salary plus uncapped commission with $90,000-$105,000 on-target earnings (OTE). Key Responsibilities - Own outbound prospecting for net-new logos within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) - Book high-quality discovery meetings using phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person events - Position and articulate CMMC preparation, managed services, secure enclaves, and C3PAO assessments - Qualify opportunities using defined BANT criteria - Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking in HubSpot - Develop and maintain expertise in CMMC requirements and the Department of Defense cybersecurity ecosystem Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience - 2–5 years of professional experience in B2B sales development, business development, or outbound sales - Demonstrated experience conducting outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social platforms - Proven ability to qualify sales opportunities using a structured qualification methodology (e.g., BANT) - Experience using a CRM system to document activities, manage leads, and track pipeline (HubSpot preferred) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet performance targets, and work effectively in a remote environment - Ability to travel up to two times per month as required Requirements - Employment is contingent upon completing a background check and a drug test. Skills testing may be required during the interview process. - Lifting equipment weighing 25 lbs. may be required. - Compensation is based on experience. - Due to sensitive government data that employees may come in contact with, this role requires compliance with federal regulations, including ITAR/EAR, which mandate U.S. citizenship.
