• Analyze workers' compensation claims for mid-level and senior executives to determine benefits payable; • Process workers' compensation claims by determining eligibility and benefits payable for long-term benefit claims; • Develop and manage action plans for workers' compensation claims through to settlement; • Communicate claim-related measures with the claimant and the client; • Maintain professional relationships with clients.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or post-secondary institution, an asset.
  • Four (4) years of experience in claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Practical knowledge of regulations, benefits and deductions, disability duration, medical management practices, and social security and health insurance claim procedures applicable to the relevant industry sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with computer tools, including Microsoft Office products.

OR - Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Economics, Policy or a related field AND 3+ years of demonstrated professional experience in the energy consulting or utilities industry designing DSM programs and performing benefit cost analysis. - Experience with utility planning, cost-effectiveness analysis, technical resource manuals, engineering calculations, or regulatory support. - Experience with distributed energy resources, flexible load management, demand response, electrification, decarbonization, or utility program analytics. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong capability with advanced Excel and quantitative analysis workflows.
