Manager, GDS Content & Analysis

Role Description In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the vendor maximization strategy, including but not limited to day‑to‑day support of the GDS tool, customization to support strategic objectives, monitoring industry changes related to hotels, and applying analytics to evaluate performance, identify trends, and inform decision‑making. As a Manager, GDS Content & Analysis, you will: - Provide day-to-day support of GDS tools - Be the subject matter expert on the functionality of the products we use - Program and customize tools to meet the needs for maximizing supplier performance - Manage operational relationships as it pertains to targeted functionality with selected technology partners - Understand, analyze, and make recommendations/suggestions based upon hotel reports and industry data sources - Provide analytical support for supplier QBRs, including performance and trend analysis - Support with hotel commission analysis - Report and measure preferred and non-preferred supplier performance initiatives Qualifications - You have prior experience with GDS platforms Sabre and Amadeus, preferably in a hotel context - You have previous experience in an analytical role, including pulling reports - Ability to analyze data and present insights clearly and effectively - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required, including an understanding of pivot and VLOOKUP - Ability to listen, ask probing questions, apply knowledge, and implement successful solutions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Knowledge of Databricks is a plus Benefits - Flexible working hours and work-from-home or remote opportunities - Opportunities to grow your skillset and career - Generous vacation days so you can rest and recharge - A compensation package that feels fair to you, including mental, physical, and financial wellbeing tools - Travel industry professional perks and discounts - An inclusive work environment where diversity is celebrated Company Description BCD Travel helps companies travel smart and achieve more.
