The right person will not just ship isolated features, but build durable systems that can support multiple products and use cases over time. What you will own: - Build and scale core components of Turing’s vetting platform, with initial focus on: - AI Interviewer - Task-based vetting platform - Fraud and integrity checks - Design platform-level systems rather than siloed point solutions, with strong emphasis on extensibility, reuse, and long-term maintainability - Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Operations to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical systems - Lead architecture and implementation for high-scale, high-reliability user-facing and internal workflows - Improve system quality across UX, performance, observability, and developer velocity - Help establish technical direction, engineering standards, and execution rigor for a fast-moving, AI-forward org - Mentor engineers and raise the bar on engineering craftsmanship, systems thinking, and speed of execution What we are looking for: - 8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong depth in backend/platform systems - Experience building and scaling complex product or platform systems used in production - Strong systems design skills, with the ability to think in platforms, primitives, and reusable abstractions rather than one-off features - Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and convert evolving requirements into clean technical approaches - Strong product instinct and user empathy; able to balance architecture quality with business speed - Experience working on workflow systems, evaluation platforms, marketplaces, trust & safety, identity/fraud, or AI-powered products is a strong plus - Familiarity with modern AI/LLM-powered systems and the ability to apply them pragmatically in production workflows - Track record of driving high-impact initiatives end-to-end across cross-functional stakeholders - Strong communication skills and a high-ownership mindset What great looks like: - Can independently take a messy problem space and turn it into a clear system design and execution plan - Builds for scale, but without overengineering - Thinks beyond the immediate ask and identifies the right underlying platform opportunities - Moves fast, has sound judgment, and can make pragmatic tradeoffs - Raises the quality bar for both technical design and product execution - Comfortable working across architecture, implementation, and org-level influence Why this role matters: Turing is entering a phase where trust, verification, and AI-led vetting are becoming central to the user experience and business model. • Provide on-site technical support at customer sites, integration events, field exercises, and demonstrations involving autonomous systems (robots and drones) • Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot software components across distributed systems and autonomy platforms • Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of communications infrastructure used in field deployments • Assist in the integration and operation of command and control (C2) systems in tactical and semi-tactical environments • Diagnose and resolve complex software, hardware, and system-level issues in time-sensitive field conditions • Collaborate with customer engineering teams and internal engineers to achieve integration milestones and exercise objectives • Document field findings, issues, and resolutions to support continuous improvement of product reliability and deployment readiness • Provide feedback to internal product and engineering teams based on field observations to drive improvements • Support pre-deployment testing and validation activities to ensure systems are field-ready • Serve as a trusted technical representative of the company in customer-facing settings, maintaining professional relationships with defense stakeholders • Participate in after-action reviews and contribute to lessons-learned processes following integration events and exercises • Adapt quickly to evolving mission requirements and operational constraints in the field

• Handle and troubleshoot requests from tech support and internal teams, including root cause analysis of complex issues (HTTP flows, API errors, web integrations, browser/client-side errors, performance problems). • Standardize solutions, prepare and maintain clear instructions and playbooks for L1 and L2 engineers. • Investigate product bugs and customer-facing errors, participate in their resolution together with Product and Engineering teams. • Proactively analyze logs to identify root causes, performance bottlenecks, and unusual patterns. • Analyze existing problems in production systems and set well-defined tasks for Engineers to fix them. • Automate routine and repetitive tasks to improve team efficiency. • Take part in on-call duties for incidents and help improve our monitoring, alerting, and response processes.

Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our AI-powered estimating business. This role involves using advanced AI tools (proprietary to the company) to generate precise material take-offs from building plans. - Read, interpret, and understand Structural blue-prints and US building codes. - Oversee all estimating outputs, including ownership of calculations, accuracy, and quality assurance. - Train offshore team members and develop training materials, processes, and systems. - Review complex or unusual plans and resolve technical issues escalated by the estimating team. - Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes, workflows, and quality standards. - Provide technical input to product development, including estimating workflows, material takeoffs, wall designs, and truss designs. - Respond to customer questions and resolve technical issues related to estimates and outputs. Qualifications - 10 Years plus experience in estimating for Framing, siding and Dry wall. - Experience with both multi family and single family projects. - Deep understanding of how truss quotes are done. - Willing to teach and help build a good product.
