Role Description We’re looking for a Sportsbook Trader to join our remote team in Colombia and support the day-to-day trading, content management, and risk management of our sportsbook. - Work closely with the risk and product teams to monitor markets, manage liabilities, and ensure a high-quality betting experience for our users. - Responsible for monitoring live betting activity, maintaining pricing integrity, and ensuring market performance across sports. - Execute trading strategy while contributing to improvements in risk management, tooling, and automation, including the use of AI to enhance trading decisions and workflows. Qualifications - Sportsbook trading experience: at least 3 years in a trading or risk. - Strong understanding of betting markets: including pricing, liabilities, and market behaviour. - Analytical mindset: use data and trends to inform decisions. - Customer stake factoring: understanding of how staking behaviour impacts risk and trading decisions. - Operational discipline: importance of consistency, process, and execution. - Team collaboration: comfortable working with product, risk, and external providers. - Fluent English: required for clear communication across the team. Requirements - Monitor live and pre-match markets: ensure pricing integrity and consistency across events. - Oversee liabilities: track exposure and take action to manage risk in real time. - Monitor live betting activity: identify trends, react to sharp action, and flag potential risks. - Execute trading strategy: apply internal frameworks for limits, pricing, and bet acceptance. - Manage sportsbook content: ensure markets are correctly configured, structured, and available. - Improve trading and risk workflows: contribute to the development of tools and processes, including AI-driven enhancements. - Write technical tickets: clearly define issues, improvements, and requirements for product and engineering teams. Nice to Have - Experience with BetGenius. - Deep knowledge of either UK or US sports. - Familiarity with automated trading models and risk frameworks. - Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth environments. - Experience writing structured technical requirements or tickets for product teams.
