• Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code best practices using AWS CDK, ensuring all cloud resources are version-controlled, repeatable, and peer-reviewed. • Architect and manage AWS infrastructure including ECS, RDS Aurora, API Gateway, S3, and networking — optimizing for reliability, performance, and cost. • Build and maintain a comprehensive observability stack: structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics dashboards, and alerting using Datadog. • Establish and run on-call processes, incident response playbooks, and post-mortem practices that improve system resilience over time. • Optimize RDS Aurora and ECS resources for performance, availability, and cost — right-sizing instances, tuning queries, and managing scaling policies. • Own cloud spend management: implement tagging strategies, cost allocation, budgets, and regular reviews to keep infrastructure costs accountable. • Harden cloud security posture: manage IAM policies, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls. • Improve developer experience by streamlining CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and local development tooling.

• Engage in 24/7 global shift rotations to provide remote support for network repairs and changes while collaborating across teams and updating customers on status and ticket information. • Drive operational improvements in change management and daily operations by following procedures. • Manage and operate large scale IP network technologies and infrastructures. • Utilise your skills in Peering and Datacenter interconnect technologies: PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, Wave circuits. • Monitor and support the network health of on-premises and cloud infrastructures. • Collaborate and develop workflow enhancements while documenting best practices.

• Own lifecycle management of VMware ESXi/vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V environments. • Design, maintain, and optimize HA clusters (VMware HA/DRS and Hyper-V Failover Clustering). • Perform hypervisor patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management. • Optimize virtual machine performance and resource allocation. • Maintain standardized templates and configuration governance. • Administer and optimize Veeam Backup & Replication. • Define and maintain RPO/RTO targets for critical systems. • Perform periodic restore validation and disaster recovery testing. • Maintain documented recovery procedures and DR runbooks. • Manage multi-site backup strategies, including full and incremental backups. • Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise networks, including Firewalling, routing, and switching/VLAN architecture. • Support routing fundamentals and firewall rule governance. • Maintain secure IT/OT segmentation design. • Support patch compliance and vulnerability remediation initiatives. • Participate in firewall reviews and security hardening efforts. • Serve as a senior escalation point during infrastructure incidents. • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) following outages or service degradation. • Monitor infrastructure performance, storage health, and system capacity. • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. • Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, SOPs, and documentation. • Participate in on-call rotation. • Support scheduled maintenance during plant outage windows. • Support occasional off-hours deployments as required. • Ensure minimal operational disruption during maintenance activities.

• Trace, profile, tune and optimize Linux kernel & subsystems (CPU scheduling, memory management, networking stack) for GPU clusters and InfiniBand fabrics • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance bottlenecks • Integrate and validate new GPU hardware & infra (KVM/QEMU, PCIe devices, Kubernetes) • Improve monitoring, alerting, and automation for large-scale, distributed systems • Occasionally assist customers in optimizing workloads
