Senior Network/Infrastructure Engineer
Xsolla
• Designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge network and infrastructure solutions • Providing support to development teams • Ensure the smooth operation of the company's geo-distributed infrastructure • Maintenance and configuration of network equipment, bare metal servers, NAS • Maintenance and configuration of virtualization system (VMWare) • Administer multiple Linux servers • Monitor the status of services and prompt resolution of emerging problems • Automate administrative tasks • Participate in the development and improvement of infrastructure • Interact with developers, database administrators, DevOps engineers, architects
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of configuring and operating active network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls
- Strong knowledge of network technologies: VLAN, STP, static routing, PBR, OSPF, BGP, ACL, IPSEC, OpenVPN, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with VMWare: vCenter, vSAN, Distributed Switch, HA
- Working knowledge of HP/Dell servers and storage systems
- Experience in the administration of Debian/Ubuntu family Linux
- Experience in the administration of monitoring systems, logging, and collection of metrics
- Intermediate or higher level of spoken and technical English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
