Group Systems Auditor

• This role is all about keeping our management systems working effectively day in, day out, and making them even better. • You’ll plan, coordinate and deliver the Group’s internal audit programme, ensuring findings are clearly communicated to sites, departments and senior management, and that best practice is shared across the business. • You’ll conduct audits in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements, as well as supporting FSC audits, BIM activities needed to maintain Kite Mark certification, and Responsible Sourcing requirements (including BES 6001). • You’ll also develop and maintain the annual audit schedule, making sure internal activity is well paced and aligned with external audit commitments. • On a day to day basis, you’ll use Outlook to plan monthly activities and keep on top of key meetings, produce a monthly summary report from BSI Connect, and pull together an annual audit report that brings the year to life – total audits completed, site-level analysis, attribute trends and year-on-year comparisons.

Job Requirements

  • IMS internal audit experience, able to plan and deliver a group-wide audit programme across multiple sites.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with confidence auditing against standards and internal procedures.
  • Strong planning, organisation and reporting skills with the ability to build audit schedules, document findings/nonconformances and communicate outcomes clearly to sites and senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical and improvement-focused with the ability to spot trends, verify actions and turn audit insight into practical, measurable improvements.
  • Experience using SharePoint and/or BSI Connect (or similar platforms) to manage IMS content, evidence and reporting. (Desirable)
  • Exposure to FSC, Responsible Sourcing (e.g., BES 6001) and/or BIM/Kite Mark activities, and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CQI/IRCA, IEMA, NEBOSH). (Desirable)
