IT Business Analyst - Journey Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Finance, Technology, & Analytics Administration (FTAA) is looking for their newest IT Business Analyst on the Division of Information Technology (DIT) Business Services team. As a Business Analyst within DIT, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of the software requirement specification artifacts that document new or modified system requirements including business, user, functional and non-functional requirements. You will support and provide problem resolution for the Automated Client Eligibility System (ACES) and its associated applications, databases, and projects. These systems include: eJAS, Washington Connection, Benefit Verification System, and the Eligibility Service. As a new Business Analyst, you will use your knowledge of the ACES system functionality, business analysis, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT project management and State and Federal statutes, policies, and regulations for cash, food, and medical public assistance programs. You will provide quality assurance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for the applications supported by DIT. This experience should include consulting with others on the use of ACES, eJAS, and Washington Connection, analyzing ACES, eJAS, Washington Connection functionality issues, or providing support to other users of the software; 2 years hands-on experience utilizing eJAS may substitute for the ACES experience. AND/OR One year of concurrent experience working as a Quality Assurance Analyst or Application Support Analyst using ACES, Washington Connection, or eJAS analyzing ACES, eJAS and Washington Connection issues. Note: Additional equivalent professional experience may substitute for the degree.
