Job Requirements
- Requires a minimum of five years required in a relevant role or professional services, ideally in a relevant sector – i.e. logistics or technology leadership
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline ideal
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal, and written communications skills - capable of developing well-structured communications and presentations
- Ability to collaborate with global resources to understand, document and discuss new proposed enhancements to processes and systems
- Ability to translate business requirements to the IT teams and work closely with them to ensure technical solutions met the business requirements

IT Business Analyst - Journey Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Finance, Technology, & Analytics Administration (FTAA) is looking for their newest IT Business Analyst on the Division of Information Technology (DIT) Business Services team. As a Business Analyst within DIT, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of the software requirement specification artifacts that document new or modified system requirements including business, user, functional and non-functional requirements. You will support and provide problem resolution for the Automated Client Eligibility System (ACES) and its associated applications, databases, and projects. These systems include: eJAS, Washington Connection, Benefit Verification System, and the Eligibility Service. As a new Business Analyst, you will use your knowledge of the ACES system functionality, business analysis, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT project management and State and Federal statutes, policies, and regulations for cash, food, and medical public assistance programs. You will provide quality assurance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for the applications supported by DIT. You will also lead efforts to facilitate automated solutions for complex business needs and problems and apply your project management skills and leadership for large-scale projects.
