Role Description Our client is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel our growth. As an SDR, you will be on the front lines of our sales efforts — generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads for our Account Executives. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and is excited about building relationships with prospective customers. Key Responsibilities - Research, identify, and engage potential prospects through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.). - Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls or product demos for Account Executives. - Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities through diligent prospecting efforts. - Understand customer needs and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition. - Collaborate with Account Executives and the Sales VP to develop prospecting strategies. - Log all activities, notes, and interactions in the CRM system to ensure accurate pipeline tracking. - Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked). - Act as the first point of contact and brand ambassador for the company. Qualifications - 0–2 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience. - Familiarity with SaaS sales or B2B technology sales is highly preferred. - Must be comfortable with performing tasks such as cold calling and other outreach initiatives. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Highly motivated, resilient, and goal-driven. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to quickly build rapport and handle objections professionally. - Comfortable working in a remote startup environment. - Experience using CRM systems and sales engagement tools like Hubspot is a big plus. - Eagerness to learn and grow into an Account Executive role over time. - Must have their own equipment.
