Role Description Remote Network technicians are a remote and combination technician. • Operate and maintain F5 BIG-IP platforms (LTM, DNS/GTM, ASM/Advanced WAF, APM as applicable) in production environments. • Monitor F5 infrastructure health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools. • Perform incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation for application delivery and load-balancing issues. • Manage and troubleshoot: Virtual servers, Pools and pool members, Profiles (HTTP, TCP, SSL), iRules (operational support; development a plus). • Execute change activities including configuration updates, software upgrades, patches, and certificate renewals following change management processes. • Support high availability, failover, and disaster recovery configurations (sync-failover device groups, active/active, active/standby). • Partner with application, security, and network teams to onboard new applications and optimize traffic flows. • Maintain accurate documentation for F5 configurations, operational procedures, and runbooks. • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical incidents. • Ensure platforms adhere to security, compliance, and operational standards under InfoSec governance.
