Senior Systems Engineer – Enterprise Integrated Technologies Owner
General Dynamics Information Technology
• Contributes to completion of device engineering workstream programs and projects. • Develops solutions to a variety of complex device engineering workstream problems. • Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end. • Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining biomedical and end user devices with customer. • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to device engineering projects. • Oversees continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems. • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, especially biomedical and end user devices and the Oracle Health EHR system. • Works cross-functionally with other program workstreams such as cyber and implementation. • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals. • May serve as a team or task lead.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting medium-to-large IT projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience developing solutions to a variety of complex device engineering workstream problems.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed.
