• Lead all US federal, state, and local tax compliance operations, including managing BPO providers for the timely filing of income tax returns and extensions, while directly overseeing Sales & Use tax reporting, nexus monitoring, and the defense of all tax audits. • Oversee the end-to-end preparation and review of the quarterly and annual US income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 and IFRS, including the accurate calculation of deferred taxes, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions (FIN 48). • Design, implement, and maintain a robust SOX-compliant internal control environment for the US tax function, ensuring all processes are documented, tested, and optimized to prevent material weaknesses and ensure financial reporting integrity. • Support the corporate accounting team by providing technical tax guidance and managing tax-related month-end close activities, including the validation of tax journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. Monitor changes in tax accounting standards, managing impact on financial statements. • Inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field
- Previous tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm or a multinational corporation.
- Advanced Excel or Google sheets. Proficiency with AI tools highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740, IFRS, US GAAP, and international tax compliance.
- Proficiency in Tax Software (e.g. OneSource) and ERP systems are desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across departments.

Role Description Figma’s Tax team is growing, and we’re looking for a Tax Manager to help scale and strengthen our tax operations. In this role, you’ll support core tax accounting and compliance processes while partnering cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment across the business.
