QA Lead
CI&T
• Define the quality vision and lead the execution of comprehensive testing strategies across our product lines. • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring fast software delivery without compromising excellence. • Manage a team of engineers and architect robust automation frameworks. • Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement. • Define, implement, and evolve the overall QA strategy, including the selection of tools, methodologies, and KPIs. • Lead, mentor, and resource a team of QA engineers and conduct performance reviews. • Architect scalable automated testing frameworks and oversee their integration into the CI/CD pipeline. • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to identify project risks and set quality benchmarks. • Participate in the implementation of testing best practices and ensure a "Shift-Left" approach to quality. • Act as the final gatekeeper for releases, providing go/no-go recommendations based on data-driven quality metrics.
Job Requirements
- Leadership Experience: 2+ years in a lead or managerial role, with a total of 7+ years in Software Quality Assurance.
- Automation Architecture: Proven expertise in designing and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium).
- Technical Depth: Deep understanding of the testing pyramid, including unit, integration, API, and UI testing.
- Risk Management: Exceptional ability to conduct root cause analysis and risk assessments for complex software ecosystems.
- Project Management: Proficiency in JIRA and other project management tools to track progress, sprints, and defect lifecycles.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced English proficiency (fluent in both verbal and written communication).
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- DevOps Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
- Performance/Security: Familiarity with non-functional testing tools like JMeter, Locust, or OWASP ZAP.
- Database Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills for data validation and back-end testing.
- Agile Coaching: Experience coaching teams on Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement mindsets.
