• Thoroughly testing developed web applications against specified requirements across a variety of desktop browsers and mobile devices, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and a seamless user experience regardless of environment. • Apply, and further develop, a grounding in test automation by learning and using low‑code and no‑code UI‑based tools as part of your testing responsibilities. • Diligently recording and monitoring issues to ensure clarity and resolution, maintaining clear communication channels with development teams and stakeholders to expedite troubleshooting and fixes. • Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation as needed, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to support repeatability and knowledge sharing within the team. • Collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to effectively resolve issues, providing critical feedback, and participating in defect triage meetings to prioritize problems based on impact and urgency. • Consistently tracking test progress in alignment with release schedules, while prioritizing workloads efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising on quality or thoroughness. • Reviewing test environments and processes to drive continuous improvements and uphold high-quality standards, actively suggesting enhancements to test strategies and tools that align with evolving project requirements. • Supporting the team by providing accurate estimates for testing efforts, contributing to realistic project planning and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in QA, including testing web-based applications, performing cross-browser functional testing, and a strong command of bug tracking and reporting tools, along with proficiency in writing detailed test cases.
  • Solid working knowledge of test automation, preferably with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Previous experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance testing effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to support every phase of the testing lifecycle.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and excellent organizational abilities, crucial for collaborating closely with developers and key stakeholders.
  • Experience working within an Agile team environment.
  • Comfortable and efficient working across both PC and Mac platforms.
  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing

Role Description The Quality Assurance & Training Specialist, Porting is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training and quality assurance programs for Porting support operations. This role supports both internal team members and BPO partners, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer interactions and operational accuracy. This position combines training development, performance evaluation, and data-driven coaching to strengthen representative effectiveness and improve customer outcomes.
