DevOps Engineer

NextGen IT Services

• Build/maintain and improve the CI/CD pipelines • Support cloud infrastructure and build automation around it • Improve operational efficiencies and implement security controls • Architect, build, and provision cloud infrastructure • Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software applications • Manage containerized environments using Docker and introduce orchestration (eg Kubernetes) as scale requires • Implement security into deployments by design including IAM, encryption, and network segmentation • Implement monitoring and observability to track system health, performance, and reliability • Support database operations including scaling, backups and recovery

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on Cloud experience preferably AWS in production environments
  • In-depth understanding of docker and containerization workflows (Kubernetes).
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Argo CD, Jenkins, Gitlab runner
  • Solid scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
  • Experience supporting MS-SQL or similar databases
  • Strong understanding of security fundamentals and access management
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Role Description CTG is seeking to fill a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (Windows / Cloud / CI/CD) position for our client.
