DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

Role Description CTG is seeking to fill a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (Windows / Cloud / CI/CD) position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 8 months Duties: - Design, deploy, and support enterprise Windows and cloud infrastructure across Dev, Test, and Production environments - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines enabling automated application deployment and release management - Deploy enterprise applications including IIS-hosted web apps and Windows services in controlled data center environments - Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible - Administer Windows server environments with strong PowerShell automation and scripting - Support cloud infrastructure components including load balancers, application gateways, networking (subnets, ports, protocols), and SSL/TLS certificates - Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, APIs, microservices, containers, Kubernetes, middleware, and infrastructure layers - Perform SQL-based troubleshooting using Oracle DBMS and support MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL environments - Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (ELK stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) - Support incident response, production operations, change management, and ITIL-based service delivery - Ensure system security, patching, upgrades, and compliance with cybersecurity standards - Support DR planning, failover testing, and cloud elasticity/auto-scaling strategies Qualifications - Expert Windows system administration and enterprise application deployment (IIS, Windows Services) - Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (build, release, deployment automation) - Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration - Infrastructure-as-code: Terraform and Ansible - Cloud infrastructure knowledge (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including load balancing and application gateways - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (subnets, ports, protocols, certificates, cipher suites) - Experience with containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and APIs - Oracle DBMS experience with SQL scripting for troubleshooting - Experience with logging/monitoring tools (ELK stack) - ITIL change management and production support experience - Strong problem-solving across distributed systems and infrastructure layers Requirements - 5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Windows Systems Administration roles - Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid environments (Windows/Linux/Unix) - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, production support, and incident management - Experience with enterprise networking, security controls, and application deployment - Background check required Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
