Role Description The AI Enablement Manager is the operational backbone of SPD Technology's AI transformation. This role works side-by-side with the VP of Delivery and AI Office leadership to turn strategy into coordinated execution across Business Units, BizDev, People, IT, and Finance. This is not a deep AI engineering role. It is a role for a highly organized, fast-learning operator who is already a power user of modern AI tools, comfortable with agentic workflows, and energized by connecting people and initiatives across an organization in motion. The role blends the mindset of a Chief of Staff — wide organizational awareness, judgment on what matters — with the discipline of a technical program manager — structured execution, reliable tracking, follow-through. Schedule The work schedule is flexible with the requirement to attend all recurring operational meetings of the AI Office and key cross-functional ceremonies. As a qualified expert, you will be responsible for: - Coordinating AI-related efforts across Business Units, delivery teams, BizDev, People, IT, and Finance — ensuring alignment and unblocking horizontal initiatives. - Owning corporate data regarding AI adoption — collecting, maintaining, and reporting metrics that reflect real usage, not self-reported perception. - Co-organizing AI events (internal demos, knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops) and facilitating internal AI communications. - Identifying, engaging, and maintaining a pool of AI Champions — engineers and managers who lead by example and multiply adoption across their teams. - Shaping AI governance projects from early vision to execution-ready state, with clear scope, owners, dependencies, and success criteria. - Popularizing AI opportunities inside SPD — connecting people, surfacing use cases, and making the AI Office visible and approachable. - Owning end-to-end execution tracking and reporting of the AI strategy — maintaining the planning structure, running the operating cadence (agendas, summaries, decision logs, follow-ups), and preparing leadership digests. - Identifying risks and blockers across AI adoption and transformation initiatives — driving mitigation with functional owners, escalating appropriately, and ensuring alignment with AI usage, security, and governance guidelines. - Scaling AI experience across the organization — capturing lessons from delivery, pilots, and champion activity, packaging them into reusable artifacts. - Partnering with IT on AI tooling lifecycle, policy, and procurement, and with L&D on AI learning programs. - Maintaining a well-structured, AI-amplified knowledge base of the AI Office — documents, decisions, playbooks, references. Goals for the Role - Establish transparent, reliable visibility into AI adoption, execution progress, and impact across SPD. - Build and sustain a healthy network of AI Champions, creating cross-BU momentum. - Make the AI Office dependable and approachable — clear answers, quick coordination, reliable follow-through. - Multiply the leverage of the VP of Delivery and AI Office leadership by absorbing operational and coordination load. - Create and maintain an institutional memory of SPD's AI transformation that compounds in value over time. Qualifications - 4+ years in technical program management, business operations, Chief of Staff, or similar cross-functional coordination roles in a technology company. - Proven ability to integrate departments and drive cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders at different seniority levels. - Moderate to advanced project and program management skills — able to design and run effective operational rhythms. - Excellent document organization and structuring skills; experience organizing AI knowledge bases or institutional memory is highly appreciated. - Power-user proficiency with modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) and the ability to help others navigate basic use cases. - Hands-on passion for designing and improving personal agentic workflows. - Broad organizational outlook — working understanding of Legal, Finance, People, IT, Delivery, BizDev, and L&D functions. - Strong understanding of how AI is reshaping knowledge work and software delivery, including current limitations and areas where caution is warranted. - Excellent self-prioritization and self-management; reliable at closing loops with minimal supervision. - Communicative, positive, and resilient under high-tempo, high-ambiguity conditions. - Technical background or active technical curiosity is highly desired; strong humanitarian backgrounds with excellent analytical and operational capabilities are equally welcome. - Fast learner who stays current on AI without being distracted by hype. Bonus Points - Prior experience in custom software services, consulting, or technology-led organizations. - Exposure to engineering or delivery environments (SDLC, Agile, DevOps). - Experience working directly with senior leadership as an integrator, Chief of Staff, or senior program lead. - Familiarity with OKR / structured planning frameworks. - Experience coordinating with IT/InfoSec on tooling governance and policy. Benefits - Reveal great tech solutions. - Join the team of experts who create custom, cutting-edge tech solutions for world-renowned businesses, fueling client growth. - Experience an agile and flexible working environment — enjoy the freedom of fully remote work with a flexible working schedule. - Embrace the opportunity for personal and professional growth — benefit from performance and merit reviews, elevate your skills with personal development plans. - Be among like-minded people — work with a team of one mind who cares about what they do and how they do.
