Role Description We are looking for a performance-driven individual with a strong passion for coffee to join our team as a Business Development Analyst. This position is ideal for recent graduates looking to begin their career in this field. - Communicate with coffee providers to obtain information such as coffee information, pricing, farm information, farm pictures, etc. in an organized manner. - Conduct market research on specialty coffee producers, and origins, as well as gather information about coffee events. - Contribute towards developing relationships with green coffee providers in South / Central America. - Communicate with management and sales team to obtain coffee requirement and specific coffee information requests. - Manage preparation of offer lists and other related commercial documents related to coffee sourcing process. - Prepare and translate marketing materials for external communications with partners. - Assist logistics team in managing transport / freight related communication to ensure shipments are moved in a timely manner. - Travel to coffee origins / farms in South and Central America to build sourcing network. Qualifications - Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish is required. - Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva. - Ability / preference to work in a dynamic / entrepreneurial environment. - Willingness to learn and develop a career in the Coffee Industry. - Team player/problem solver, analytical mindset, resourceful in creating solutions. - Laptop / Computer; consistent, fast internet connection. - Must be based in Colombia. Requirements - Work Hours - 7am - 3:30 pm Colombia time (preferable). Nice to Have - Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or similar. - Big ideas and persistent curiosity is a good extra. - Prior experience / knowledge / understanding in specialty coffee.
