Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Improvement & Analytics - Drive continuous improvement through automation and change management across: - Demand Planning - Inventory Management - Product Allocation and Escalation processes - Partner cross‑functionally to frame business problems, define hypotheses, and deliver executive‑ready insights that improve US supply planning processes and adherence to standard best practices. - Test and validate analytical models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and alignment with business objectives. - Develop and maintain executive‑level and operational supply planning dashboards for the US region. Planning Execution & Governance - Support the US Supply Planning Lead in driving monthly KPI performance, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve service, inventory, and supply outcomes. - Document assumptions, methodologies, governance standards, sustainability plans, and job aids for all initiatives. - Serve as backup support for critical planning functions as needed. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Work collaboratively with Regional Planning, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Allocation teams to optimize end‑to‑end supply chain processes. - Identify and deliver supply chain optimization opportunities that support financial commitments and business priorities. - Coordinate, facilitate, and document outputs and actions from recurring planning meetings. Performance Tracking & Management - Measure, control, and improve IBP, backlog, and inventory accuracy using clearly defined performance metrics. - Present performance results with root‑cause analysis and actionable recommendations that drive meaningful business impact. - Support MDS US Region OTIF (on time in full) metric root cause analytics and strategy to proactively improve. Communication - Deliver clear, direct, and fact‑based communication tailored to operational and executive audiences. - Translate complex analytics into simple, story‑driven insights to enable decision‑making. - Maintain historical documentation related to assumptions, governance, sustainability, and job aids. Innovation & Digitization - Identify and implement innovative, analytics‑driven solutions, including: - Partnering with planners to translate business context into model parameters and calibrations - Developing real‑time dashboards and alerts to enable proactive planning actions - Building tools that integrate internal and external data for scenario modeling - Automating reporting and performance management to reduce reliance on manual Excel processes - Developing data‑cleansing alerts to improve planning accuracy and data integrity Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field - 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain (Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, E2E Planning, or Lifecycle Management) - Strong working knowledge of SAP (ERP), SQL, Power BI, and data query tools - Advanced Excel and data analysis skills - Action‑oriented, results‑driven mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities - Demonstrated ability to translate analytical results into clear, actionable business recommendations - Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in a complex, matrixed supply chain organization - APICS certification - PMP certification - Agile, LEAN, or Six Sigma Certification At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry. Role Description Our client is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and enabling analytics across the organization.
