Director, Business Development – Data Centers, Communications
Hubbell Incorporated
• Supporting and growing sales of assigned house accounts • Responsible for recommending product line strategies for Data Center and Telecommunications applications • Attending Industry conferences and sales meetings • Conducting product training presentations • Responsible for providing exemplary support to sales organizations and customers • Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies • Identifying market opportunities and setting sales goals • Setting clear objectives and KPIs, evaluating performance • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients • Analyzing sales data and trends • Implementing sales processes and tools • Conducting market research and monitoring industry trends • Developing competitive positioning strategies • Providing insights and recommendations to senior management • Preparing regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or business field is preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience
- Knowledge of current and emerging Data Center and Telecommunications industry and technologies, methods, and standards
- Preferable experience in the Data Center and/or Telecom industry
- Understanding of standards and codes
- Must be self-reliant, resourceful, and possess acumen in executing business decisions
- Excellent oral and writing communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage “ad-hoc” teams
- Must apply critical thinking skills
- Strong mathematic, analytical and computer skills
